DUDU...

It is actually sad to see Eduardo Da Silva leave the Emirates this summer.Although no concrete news has come out from the Emirates camp, but reports emerging from the media(widespread!) have indicated that he is set to complete a move to Ukrainian side-Shakthar Donetsk. The Gaffer however has played down all talk that he is about to leave.:

"Eduardo is an Arsenal player and I am expecting a lot from him this season,he had a terrible injury - he went through hell - but I think his workrate is fantastic and his determination, which is exceptional, will be of great use to Arsenal."

Before his horrific injury in 2008,Eduardo was actually a world-class player.A clinical striker,more-like a David Villa for Spain.(I am not joking)After that injury,he has not actually got back to his form or where he would want to be.Gooners will always remember his brilliant goal against West ham Utd at the Emirates, where he showed why he should be regarded as a fantastic striker. But since that son-of a ***** Taylor broke his leg,Eduardo has struggled to find his touch at the Emirates. It is actually sad to see a player of his calibre leave Arsenal. Also,it shows us the dirty side of football-"the career threatening injury" situation.

His agent recently claimed that "Dudu" wants to make a move to a less physical league, and I completely understand that. The Premier League is difficult to absorb and after seeing Eduardo's situation, anybody would want a move elsewhere.Shaktar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu, wants "Dudu" and  recently said:

"We wanted to buy Eduardo before he moved to Arsenal, not everything went his way last season, but he is still a player of very high quality, a real marksman."
"Yes, he had a serious injury, we are aware of the risk, but at the same time we realise he can give a lot to Shakhtar. We expect a lot from Eduardo."
Croatia's national coach Slaven Bilic encouraged the move as he said:

"I spoke with Eduardo. He was very pleased with the move to Shakhtar," said Bilic.
"He is going to a strong league. This season they will once again play in the Champions League, have many difficult matches and this is excellent for the national team.
"The captain of Shakhtar is Darijo Srna, in the team there are a lot of Brazilians - I have no doubt that Eduardo will quickly adapt to Donetsk."
Personally,I hope this never is true, because I really want Eduardo to stay at the Emirates.I still think that he requires some more amount of time to recover from that "sick" injury he had.The Gaffer is giving him another chance and I feel that he deserves one.I hope he recovers his true form ,as then we shall have a strike force -"clinical and lethal in nature."And in case he does leave,Best of Luck  for his future...he will never be forgotten by us.

WHO THE HELL DO THEY THINK THEY ARE....

Now let me be honest about this transfer saga.Since Cristiano Ronaldos transfer to Real Madrid last season,Cesc Fabregases to his "homeland" is the most talked about ever. And from the beginning,Fc Barcelona have seriously played it ugly. Now,Barca fans will probably ask why?And they will blame Cesc alot in the entire transfer saga.I an not entirely blaming Barcelona, and in my opinion Cesc is also not entirely innocent. This is because he could have just ended this entire speculation by making it very clear that he wishes to stay at Arsenal.Hes should have done the same thing which Rooney did, when Real Madrid were after him in the beginning of the transfer season. However,I still feel that our "Spanish Counter-parts" are more at fault than our own Spaniard!

WHY DO I BLAME FOOTBALL CLUB BARCELONA?
This is why I blame them more than Fabregas in this entire transfer saga.Barcelona sporting director,Txiki Begiristain in  mid-may said:

"It's great news that he wants to come here and I think that one day Cesc will have to come to Barca but what matters is Arsenal and what their decision is,"
"We have to respect Arsenal's wishes and the contract he has."
"They think he is a very important player for them - we have to respect that. At times the wishes of players do not come true because they are under contract."
Now,when I heard this,I knew it was absolute bull-****.All these clubs say they will respect other clubs and they never keep to their word-"this should be Newtons 4th law of motion."Don't believe me look at "Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer saga."Barca fans probably say that why should a club, keep a player if the player himself wants to come. But please show me a single video,statement,site...or whatever ...to prove to me that Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal Football Club said that he wants to leave the club. All he has said is that "Barcelona is his heart and he wished to go there at one point of his career."This he can do even when he is 28 or 30,so whats the big deal. Why does he have to go now,why this summer...this is what I can't understand.

Now we come to the biggest f****** piss-off of the century.Barcelona's beloved captain,Carles Puyol. This Spanish-turd is saying that Cesc wants to come, and we are stopping him from going to his beloved "home."He feels that Barcelona is his future, and that Cesc gets frustrated when he sees how much success his  Spanish counter-parts are getting in that hell-hole.This mule and his homo-side kick really just can't shut up! Surprisingly, when Manchester City got interested in Messi,FCB came out quite frankly with a hands-off warning. So the Eastlands club stopped and gave up the chase on Messi. Now when Arsenal have said the same thing...what is their problem. Moreover, they should thank Arsenal for encouraging them not to become bankrupt.Bloody beggars have taken loans to pay their player salaries.

If FCB (trust me I'm trying my best not to write Bas****lona),have a problem,   let them go to hell or just pay us 60 ml pounds for him!I bet we will probably  beat them in the champions league this year. This club has  seriously  started to make me sick!....And we actually thought Madrid was bad?

If I am not wrong, our relations with FCB have become bad...and in the coming weeks it may get more worse. So screw Barcelona and let them get beaten 4-0 in the "El-clasico,"may their hearts rot in the hell or wherever they go...cheap sons -of-*******.

ARSENAL 4-0 BARNET

x
So after watching the first of Arsenals pre-season friendlies finish, what can we Gooners conclude .In my opinion, the team we put out today was quite strong as compared to our opponents, and quite frankly we outplayed them in every department. But who didn't expect that from us! We really played well, but more importantly  we played the"Arsenal"style football.
Following was the starting line-up for Arsenal vs Barnet on 17th July,2010:

                                         Fabianski

       Nordtveit       Koscielny       Vermaelen       Traore

        Wilshere        Frimpong         Emmanuel-Thomas

            Arshavin           Simpson             Rosicky

Subs: Szczesny, Mannone, Miquel, Djourou, Gibbs, Eastmond, Nasri, Henderson, Lansbury, Barazite, Walcott, Chamakh...........and will you believe it,the entire team was changed at half-time.Everybody but Szczesny came in.But don't worry that tall pole got his chance in the 68th min

SO HOW DID ALL THE GOALS COME...
  • The first goal was quite shocking actually as it came in the 1st min.Arshavin rounded the keeper and scored, quite effortlessly after working a neat 1-2 with Tomas Rosicky.
  • The second goal came at half-time,our new prodigy Jack Wilshere did brilliantly by drawing two defenders towards him, just before passing the ball to Jay-Simpson,who eventually slotted home from close range.)It was a superb finish).
  • No. 3 was a typical Arsenal goal.Arshavin cut passed a defender from the left, and quickly passed it to Jack Wilshere,(who,in my opinion made a sublime-run)only for him to cut the ball back across the 6 yard-box-and give Jay-Simpson a simple tap in "home."Brilliant to watch,a 3 pass goal which tore the Barnet defense to shreds.
  • The last goal came from our beloved,Samir Nasri. He pressurized  Daniel Leach ,causing him to make a fatal error, and giving the french-man the opportunity to make it 4-0.And he duly obliged
In conclusion, all I can say is that we shouldn' be too happy as we all expected Arsenal to beat Barnet,if not demolish them. But yes, a win is win and we thoroughly deserved to win today. The future looks bright for our youth players also,as they all chipped in a performance worth applauding. Thus,to the next friendly...upto then "Sayonara."

PS:I may write another article before 21st July also..

THE LOOP-HOLES

Well, the season is now coming closer and closer and somehow I am not yet convinced about our entire teams shape.Whether I will be right or wrong will depend on how we perform in the pre-season friendlies,or rather a real test will be in the Emirates Cup-the one trophy we always win!Frankly, speaking about loopholes, one major concern is the clown at the back of our defense and his side-kick "flappy."

Recent reports have suggested that Arsenal are moving to replace our beloved spanish shot-stopper by "Mark Schwarzer" for about 4 ml pounds. Now,I don't agree with this move ,but if there is no other alternative I don't mind it.The reason I am against this transfer is because Schwarzer is quite old,and he does not have champions league experience like other goalies. Moreover his performance in the World Cup was not very satisfying either. The "Old is Gold" principle does not really apply here, does it ?

Rather than move for him,we should move for may be Shay Given or Joe Hart, cause lets face it one will get pissed because he is going to sit and "butt-warm"the bench at the Eastlands and both are world -class keepers.Or may be Frey, yeah, recently there was a report that we may move for him to...oh,goody!Well ,next is the actual defense, but this department is less worrying because we still have Sol!Yup thats the only reason.Actually we do require another defender to cover for Tommy-Vand Koscielny. We certainly can't risk having one-injured.Otherwise it shall be another season with us conceding more than 25 goals..."the horror"
The mid-field department and attacking department are well covered up.Cesc Fabregas probably will stay at Arsenal and not go to that "Morgue."Recently saying"I think now the less said about the subject much the better, because these things are worse for everyone when they come to light and people talk more about the matter.Right now we have to be very calm and what will be will be."Another reason he may not be leaving because recent reports (according to the Review) have stated that a star worth 40 ml euros bought a house worth 2 ml in Marshalls drive at St.Albans, about 3 weeks ago..(lets just hope it was Cesc who bought the house, and not his evil twin brother!)
RVP will be fresh from the World-cup and Chamakh from his long-holiday,so will Theo and "The Little Russian."

This season will seriously be interesting because The Gaffer has signed 2 experienced players, and both of them can make a difference,..though we still need a keeper and 1 more defender...once we sign a keeper and the extra defender,(the keeper will make any Gooners day, wont it?) we will completely be ready.Lastly,Cesc has won the World Cup,and that will take alot of pressure out of him,the young lad has matured and we may just see an exclusive season from him (and RVP also)...till then, lets wait and watch.... and be hopeful that I am right.
