CESC FABREGAS HELPS SPAIN TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE

Well one may not say that it was the best match in the World Cup especially after seeing Argentina rocked by Germany, but it takes only one goal to win a match.Be it the World Cup final or even a damn friendly...congratulations to Spain and Barcelonas dre..sorry,"Basterdlonas"dream kid...Andres Iniesta to provide us with that goal. But how conviniently, don't we always forget to mention the name of the person who gave that "small contribution" to  the goal-scorer.Yup,this really sickens me in football. When Lionel Messi scored the winner againts Manchester United in the Champions League Final, did anyone notice the no 6 ,who gave him that "tiny" cross-Xavi,do you really hear Wes Sneijders name,as the guy who gave the assist to Diego Milito to score in the Champions League this year.No...nobody gives a damn!

Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas stepped onto the pitch of the"Soccer City "stadium in the 87th min with the only one objective-To make his team win that "Golden Statue."And 5 minutes later, could have sent Spain ahead when Andres Iniesta sent him one-on -one with Goalkeeper Stekelenburg...only for the goalie to save his shot. The match bore on, and he signalled a warning to the Dutch defense when he gave a solo-run from the middle of the field and shot from 20 yards, only narrowly missing the target. But in the 116 min the game changed when our little Captain gave Spain, that "glimmer of hope",that "white light,"that they don't have to go to a penalty shootout! He picked up the ball from the edge of the area, alert as he is and fed it to Andres Iniesta-who found the bottom corner of the goal....making Spain "World Champions."
Congratulations,Cesc Fabregas...the first Arsenal player to have collected the winners medal for the World Cup since Patrick Viera in 1998 for France. You have made us Gooners proud...now please stay here and don't go to "fcB."
